Write a story together with an AI
Be able to use an AI as a co-author and decide for yourself what turns out well.
Prerequisites
Everyday explanation
An AI can make up any amount: names for dragons, strange worlds, unexpected endings. But it does not know what you find fun.
The best way: let the AI give ideas, and write yourself.
- «Give me five names for a shy dragon» → choose one.
- «What could happen when the dragon meets a cat?» → choose, or think of something better.
- Write the story in your own words.
Then the story is yours, and it turns out better — because you decide.
Interactive
Try it and judge. Ask an AI for three suggestions for how your story should end. Then write in three boxes:
| The suggestion | Good because … | Bad because … |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | ||
| 2 | ||
| 3 |
Often one of the three is usable and two are dull. That is entirely normal — the AI guesses what usually comes next, not what is surprising. The surprising part is your job.
Mastery means
- Uses AI for ideas and writes themselves
- Says what in the AI's suggestions turned out well and what did not
