From idea to app
Be able to describe who the app is for, what it does, and how you know if it is good.
Prerequisites
Everyday explanation
A good app idea answers three questions:
- Who is it for? “Everyone” is the wrong answer. “Customer service agents handling many cases” is better.
- What problem does it solve? What is difficult today, without the app?
- How do we know it is good? What should become measurably better — fewer incorrect answers, shorter handling time, happier customers?
Without answers to these three, you build something no one uses — and you never notice it.
Interactive
Fill in the idea card:
| Name | Case Assistant |
| For whom | customer service agents |
| Problem | hard to find the right answer in old email threads |
| What the app does | suggests answers based on previous cases |
| How we measure | percentage of cases resolved without escalation, before and after |
| What AI could do | prioritise which cases need human help |
| What can go wrong | wrong answers are suggested; the system hangs under high load |
Make your own card for your idea. The last line is the most important — the person who never thinks about what can go wrong builds something that breaks for the user.
