AI or a human being? Guess

Be able to compare texts and images and discuss the clues — and that you often cannot know.

Prerequisites

Everyday explanation

Was this text written by a human being or by an AI? Often it is impossible to know. But there are clues:

Text: a very even and polite tone, no spelling mistakes at all, general phrasings without personal details, repeated sentence structures, invented facts that sound confident.

Images: strange hands and fingers, text on signs that comes out as nonsense, jewellery and patterns that do not hang together, a background that melts.

Voice: an even rhythm with no breathing, strange stresses on unusual words.

Intuition

But be careful. Clues are not proof:

  • A human being can write evenly and politely.
  • An AI image can be flawless.
  • Tools that claim to detect AI text are often wrong, particularly for somebody writing in a second language. Accusing somebody of AI cheating on the basis of such a tool is unfair.

So the question moves: instead of «is this AI?» you ask «can I trust the content?» — is there a source, can the facts be checked, who is behind it?

Play the test: have a friend mix three AI texts and three of your own. How many do you guess right? Most people land near half.
